BDE: Reb Moshe Schwed, z”l
YS Gold
BoroPark24 regrets to inform you of the petirah of Reb Moshe Schwed, one of the chashuve chassidim in Sanz-Klausenberg in Boro Park. He was 85 years of age.
He was born in Hungary to his father, Reb Nachman Schwed, and was fortunate to survive the war. Following the war, he forged a lifelong connection with the previous Klausenberger Rebbe—a connection that continued with the current Rebbe, shlit”a.
His bar mitzvah was by the Klausenberger Rebbe, and he learned by him in Williamsburg, and later in Kiryas Sanz, Netanya.
The niftar was known as a talmid chochom and a great ba’al tzedakah who loved to help people. He was an exceptionally warm, and family-oriented person and loved to share divrei Torah all the time, always having words of Torah on his lips.
The Levaya is taking place at the Sanz-Klausenberger shul on 50th Street at 9:30 this morning.
Yehi zichro baruch.
