BDE: Reb Yochanan Wosner, z”l, Longtime Gabbai of Rachmastrivka

YS GOLD

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Yochanan Wosner, z”l, a longtime Boro Park resident, and the devoted gabbai of the Rachmastrivka Beis Medrash. He was 64 years of age, and had suffered with an illness.

The niftar was born and raised in London, and married into a Boro Park family in the same year that the previous Rachmastrivka Rebbe became Rebbe.

He became a fiery and devoted chossid of the Rebbe, zt”l, and was highly regarded in the chassidus as a true ehrliche, chassidishe Yid.

He served for many years as the devoted gabbai of the Rachmastrivka Beis Medrash in Boro Park.

He was diagnosed with an illness a number of years ago, and sadly succumbed to its ravages this afternoon.

The levaya will take place 7:15 at the Rachmastrivka Shul on 45th Street, where he will be mourned by the many who knew and admired him.

Yehi zichro baruch.
