A 15-year-old was injured and transported to Maimonides Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.

A serious accident occurred this afternoon at the intersection of Ditmas Avenue and Coney Island Avenue, leaving a biker in critical condition.

The biker was struck by a truck while navigating the corner, which is currently under construction. Witnesses report that the ongoing roadwork left little space for bikers, creating hazardous conditions.

According to a local store owner who witnessed the aftermath, one of the bikers had visible tire marks on his face, a chilling indication of the severity of the accident. The store owner also mentioned that the truck was driving fast before turning and colliding with the bikers, who were riding together on one bike.

Emergency responders, including Highway Patrol, are on the scene, with the injured biker receiving immediate medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
