Bobov-45 Rebbe To Spend Shabbos In Union, NJ
By Idy Perl
Bobov-45 chassidim and residents of Union, New Jersey, are preparing for an extraordinary and uplifting Shabbos with the Bobov-45 Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe, who founded the local Jewish community in Union, will be spending Shabbos there to celebrate his grandson's aufruf.
This Shabbos, Parshas Toldos, is the aufruf of the Rebbe’s grandson, the son of his eldest son-in-law, Reb Chaim Baruch Halberstam, shlit"a. Reb Halberstam leads the community in Union and is the son of the Av Beis Din of Beis Avraham shlit"a. The kallah is the daughter of Reb Chaim Eliyahu Teitelbaum, shlit"a, the Rebbe of Karitz.
As the aufruf will be taking place in the chosson’s father’s home, the Rebbe will spend Shabbos in the city. During his stay he will get to see and experience the remarkable growth of the Union community.
To accommodate the large crowd anticipated for the tefillos and the tish, a massive tent has been erected by the renowned Rentastic Party Rentals company, which is now in its final stages of preparation for the Shabbos festivities.
