Boro Park Shomrim to Hold Bike Registration Event

It has become an annual tradition for the boys of Boro Park. An annual event wherein the children line up outside the 18th Avenue Park to have their bikes etched and registered with Shomrim.

This Sunday, the registration event will take place between 1:00-7:00. There will be rides throughout this time as well, and free safety helmets will be given out by Councilman Kalman Yager and his office.

But it’s not just bicycles. Hoverboards, carriages, and scooters can also be registered, and in the case of theft can later be identified by Shomrim, which will have yet another tool in their crime-fighting arsenal.
