Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso Visits Summer Camps in the Catskills

Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso spent time last week visiting his constituents who are spending the summer months in the Catskills, stopping at several well-known camps.

His tour included Camp HASC, Camp Kaylie (Ohel’s summer camp), Camp Rav Tov Satmar in Napanoch, and the Ichud Satmar Bungalow Colony in Monticello. At each stop, Reynoso was warmly received by directors, staff, and campers, who shared with him the unique atmosphere and needs of their communities during the summer season.

The Borough President’s visit highlighted his strong connection with the community. His presence demonstrated his support and recognition for the thousands of Brooklyn residents who spend their summers in the Catskills. 

It especially gave the Borough President an opportunity to connect directly with thousands of campers at their turf, who welcomed him jubilantly and warmly. During his visit, the Borough President shared his plans to allocate funding to upgrade parks in Brooklyn so that when returning home, the campers can continue to enjoy outdoors.
