Camper Falls Out Of Bus In The Catskills

Yesterday afternoon a scary incident happened to a bus of excited campers. 

A busload of girls were on the I-84 on the way to a camp trip when one of the bus tires suffered a blowout. One frightened camper opened the back door of the bus and fell out, hitting her head hard on the pavement below. 

The girl lost consciousness and Catskills Hatzalah as well as a Medivac helicopter reported to the scene. The injured girl was transported to Westchester Medical Center via the helicopter. More details about her condition are unknown at this time. 

Parts of the I-84 were shut down to allow for the helicopter to land, causing traffic to pile up.
