Captured Moment: The Lag BaOmer Hadlakah in Boyan

This week will mark the great and exalted hillula of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai which is celebrated by Yidden throughout the world with the traditional Medurah. 

One of the first kehillos in Boro Park to host this event was the Boyaner Kehillah, which had a number of Yerushalmi Yidden who sought to commemorate this tradition of bnei Eretz Yisroel. 

Although the background of the photo is dark and murky, can any of our readers take a guess as to where in Boro Park this photo was taken?

Indeed, as an astute reader pointed out, the newsstand in question is the one on 13th Avenue and 49th Street, which continues to sell newspapers, lotteries, cigarettes, and other items, just as it has for as long as anyone can remember.
