Child Critically Injured in School Bus Accident; Urgent Tefillos Requested

This afternoon, a young girl was struck by a school bus on East 2nd Street near Avenue J.

The child sustained serious injuries and is now in the operating room at Maimonides Hospital. Her name for tefillah is Basya bas Gittel Baila.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and East 2nd Street remains closed for the next several hours. Heavy traffic is reported in the area, with media helicopters observed circling overhead.
