Community Connects with Heroes at FDNY Open House on 12th Avenue

The FDNY held an Open House at the 12th Avenue Fire Station, inviting community members to meet local firefighters, explore the firehouse, and learn more about fire safety.

Families and children enjoyed a close-up look at the fire trucks, equipment demonstrations, and safety presentations. Firefighters took time to answer questions, share stories from the field, and highlight the importance of fire prevention - especially following recent incidents in the neighborhood.

The event, which ran on Sunday October 19., drew many local residents eager to show appreciation for the heroes who serve and protect the community every day.
