Construction For New Chernobyl Shul Begins

After years of planning, construction for the new Chernobyl bais medrash is fully underway. 

The current bais medrash hasn’t been able to accommodate the growing kehillah anymore, and rented halls are needed every yom tov to fit the crowds.

The kehillah has been raising funds, buying property, and preparing to start building their new bais medrash, which has now finally started. The property where the new shul will be located is adjacent to the current shul on 12th Avenue and 41st Street.

Although the plans for the new shul aren’t finalized yet, it’s sure to be a magnificent building that will give harchuvas hadas for the Rebbe and the chassidim.
