Dr. Stephan Kamholz - Chair of Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center Died of Coronavirus
We regret to inform you of the passing of Dr. Stephan
Kamholz who was the Chair of Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center since 2013
died today of the novel coronavirus – COVID-19.
Dr. Kamholz studied for his medical degree at New York
Medical College before going on to complete his Internship, Residency, and Fellowship
at Montefiore Medical Center.
Specializing in Lung & Thoracic Cancer Care as well as Pulmonary
& Critical Care, Dr. Kamholz treated thousands of patients over the course
of his career. He will be forever missed by the patients he treated and cared
for over his decades in medicine.
