E-bike Bursts into Flames, Destroys Two Vehicles

A e-bike was parked on 10th Avenue and 43rd Street this morning when it burst into flames. 

The damage, however, went far beyond the destruction of the e-bike itself; the fire caused two nearby cars to become engulfed in flames, causing irreparable damage to the vehicles. 

This story comes on the heels of numerous stories of e-bike batteries exploding into flames, posing a danger to people and property nearby.
