Elderly Man Assaulted, Suspect Apprehended

A 70-year old man was walking in the vicinity of McDonald and Ditmas Avenue this afternoon, when he was randomly, viciously assaulted by a stranger who punched him in the face, completely unprovoked. 

The quick-witted man immediately called Shomrim, which was quickly on the scene. 

Using the description provided by the man, they soon located the suspect a block away from the scene. The suspect was identified by the victim as his assailant, and NYPD arrested him.
