Enjoy the Warmth for Shabbes: Although Rain is Expected

As we light Shabbes and Chanukah candles, the temperature is rising to the 50s for Shabbes and Sunday.

Although rain is expected to fall on New York City and Lakewood on Shabbes from 10am to 4pm, with slightly heavier midday rains.

The sun will come out again briefly in the late afternoon of Shabbes and again on Sunday, when temperatures are expected to temporarily warm back up to the 50s during the day.

By candle-lighting time, however, clouds and a cold front will reappear, and temperatures will fall, along with potentially, snow, for the first of three times next week.

Monday might see a combination of snow and rain, and next week, temperatures will continue to drop to the 20s and 30s, along with more snow.

Git shabbes! A Frilichan Chanukah!
