FDNY to Deploy EMS Bikes Along Marathon Route for Quick Emergency Response

For the first time, the FDNY will deploy EMS bikes along the marathon route, allowing EMS units to navigate through crowds and respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently.

This initiative, part of the ASAP program, addresses congested areas where EMS trucks may face delays.

Each EMS biker will be paired with a partner, just like in the trucks, and will be equipped with essential tools to begin immediate assistance upon arrival.
