Fifth Skverer Shtiebel in Boro Park to Open This Shabbos

Skverer Chassidim in Boro Park joyfully greeted the news of the opening of the fifth outpost of Torah and chassidus in Boro Park being opened this Shabbos, parashas Vayigash in the 60th Street vicinity, and thus being called “the Zechtziger Shtiebel.” 

The shtiebel, located at 5723 18th Avenue, is being opened with the blessings of the Rebbe shlit”a, who instructed the chassidim to inaugurate the shul on the date of 11 Teves, a special date which is known as “Purim Mezibuzh,” due to miracles that took place in that town on this date during the Chmelnitzki Massacres. 

The mispalelim of the shtiebel invited their fellow chassidim from the other Boro Park shtieblach—on 14th Avenue, 12th Avenue, 17th Avenue, and 44th Street—to attend a kiddush and drink l’chaim on honor of this special occasion.
