Fourth Yohrtzeit of the Skulener Rebbe to be Marked by the Rebbe and Chassidim

It has been four years since the petirah of the Skulener Rebbe, Rebbe Yisroel Avrohom Portugal z"l, one of the greatest leaders of this generation, and the eldest chassidishe Rebbe of his time, to whom the multitudes flocked for yeshu’os and to be warmed by his holy fire. 

This Shabbos marks the fourth yohrtzeit, and on this occasion, chassidim will gather to commemorate the hillula, and recall the days of glory in his presence. 

The hillula will be presided over by his son, the current Skulener Rebbe, and words of commemoration will be delivered by sons, sons-in-law, and grandchildren of the Rebbe who were privileged to spend years around him. 

Shabbos morning, the Rebbe will join chassidim for the seuda in the Shul, and a seudas hillula will be held on motzei Shabbos at 11:45pm. 

The chassidim will gather at the tziyun in Monsey on Sunday at 5:00, invoking yeshu’os for themselves and all of Klal Yisroel, just as the Rebbe did during his life on this earth.
