Hurricane Beryl Heads To New York

By Idy Perl
Hurricane Beryl, now known as Tropical Storm Beryl, is expected to travel through the Midwest and hit western New York later today, bringing lots of rain that can possibly cause flash flooding.
Beryl has already broken some records as the earliest-formed category 4 and 5 hurricane, and wreaked havoc on the Caribbean Islands last week before traveling to Texas earlier this week. Millions in Texas have been left without power and 10 fatalities have been reported.
New Yorkers are encouraged to keep an eye on the weather today as heavy rain might start in the afternoon and continue to tomorrow morning.
