Manhole Fire Causes Evacuation of Viznitzer Cheder

The entire Yeshiva Imrei Chaim-Viznitz cheder was evacuated this morning as a manhole fire erupted right in front of the building, sending fumes of the electric fire throughout the entire neighborhood. Another manhole is smoking not far away from the one on fire.

The boys were brought to various surrounding blocks and the FDNY sent a large response to the fire. Shomrim and the NYPD are ensuring the evacuation. The CO of the NYPD 66 Precinct is on scene as well.
