McKinley Park Playground Closed for Major Renovation

The playground at McKinley Park is now closed for a full reconstruction, with work expected to wrap up by March 2026.

Located just outside Boro Park near the Verrazzano Bridge exit, the park is a familiar sight for many heading in and out of the neighborhood. Most of the space is currently fenced off, with only limited areas still accessible.

The $8.4 million project will bring major upgrades to the playground, including exciting new equipment and a better overall park experience.
