Memorial Day: Government Service Closures

By BoroPark24 Staff

Today, on Memorial Day, numerous government services stand closed to honor the courageous individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the military.

First and foremost among these closures is the United States Postal Service, meaning residents and businesses won't receive mail deliveries today. Additionally, postal processes experience a full-day delay.

Moreover, there will be no garbage collection today, leading to potential backup that could be felt in the days to come.

Many banks and government offices are also closed in observance of Memorial Day. It's essential for residents to consider these closures and plan accordingly for any essential tasks or services that may be affected.
