Metropolitan Commercial Bank Hosts Mezuzah Ceremony and Ribbon-Cutting
Metropolitan Commercial Bank marked the completion of its Boro Park Banking Center at 5102 13th Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, with a special event on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. The occasion featured a Mezuzah Ceremony and Ribbon-Cutting. Rabbi Duvid Katz, Director of Development for The Rabbinical Alliance of America, performed the Mezuzah Ceremony.
Distinguished attendees included several of the Bank's clients, members of the Board of Directors, and senior leadership. Notable community figures, such as New York State Senator Simcha Felder, New York State Assemblyman Lester Chang from the 49th District, Randy Peers, President and CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Joel Eisdorfer, Senior Advisor to Mayor Eric Adams, Avi Greenstein, CEO of the Boro Park Jewish Community Council (BPJCC), and Alex Rapaport, Director of the Masbia Soup Kitchen Network of Boro Park, were also in attendance.
The Boro Park Banking Center of Metropolitan Commercial Bank proudly showcases several captivating artworks, including a 16.85 x 7.75 feet, full-color mural entitled “Praying at The Western Wall,” a 26.75 x 6.25 feet monochrome mural titled “Hassidim Dancing,” and an impressive 13.5-foot-diagonal, high-resolution LED digital display capable of live streaming events globally.
