MTA Opens Public Comment Period on Proposed Fare and Toll Changes
By Y.M. Lowy
The MTA wants to hear from riders about proposed changes to fares, tolls, and ticketing policies. Over the next three weeks, more than 20 public comment sessions will take place throughout the system.
Riders can stop by subway stations, commuter rail stations, or even an MTA mobile sales vehicle to share feedback in person. Comments can also be submitted online through September 14. Letters are welcome too, sent to MTA Government & Community Relations at 2 Broadway, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
It’s a chance for riders to speak up before decisions are made.
