Anti-Semitic Flyers Distributed in Several Cities Across the U.S.
Anit-Semetic flyers packed in plastic bags along with little stones were distributed in several cities across the U.S including Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
“Every single aspect of the COVID agenda is Jewish,” the flyers read. It also listed some of the health officials in Washington leading the response to Covid-19 and said they are Jewish.
Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber and Surfside officials said patrol is being set up in neighborhoods and at religious institutions.
Texas, North Carolina, and Maryland have also reported a spread of anti-Semitic campaigns.
Detectives from Broward County to Miami-Dade County are assisting the FBI in the investigation, and so far, a van found in another area of Florida has been linked to the flyers.
Israel Gears up for Heavy Snowstorm
Heavy snow and strong winds are predicted in Jerusalem starting Wednesday. Temperatures will likely drop to around freezing and stay below average for several days.
Snow is expected in parts of the north and center of the country starting Wednesday afternoon. Meteorologists predicted the snow in Jerusalem to reach 8 inches by Thursday morning, which would mark the heaviest accumulation there in years.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog set to visit UAE next week
Israel’s President Isaac Herzog will fly to the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, marking the first-ever official visit by an Israeli president to the Gulf state, Times of Israel reported Tuesday.
Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai has invited Herzog for a two-day visit.
“We have the privilege of making history by making the first visit of an Israeli president to the United Arab Emirates,” Herzog said in a statement on Tuesday. “This important visit comes as the Israeli and Emirati nations are busy laying the foundations of a new shared future. I believe that our bold new partnership will transform the Middle East and inspire the whole region. We are a peace-loving nation, and together we will expand the historic circle of peace of the Abraham Accords and create a better, more tolerant, and safer world for our children.”
