Nissim: Car Overturns and Bursts into Flames

By Y.M. Lowy

A serious crash on Butrick Road in Ferndale Sunday night ended with what responders described as clear nissim.

A vehicle traveling south from the Catskills overturned and caught fire, completely destroying it by the time emergency crews arrived. The incident occurred on a stretch of road frequently used by families heading home after the weekend spent upstate.

Hatzolah responded to the scene and treated three individuals, all of whom were transported to the hospital in stable condition with minor injuries.

Despite the intensity of the flames and the total loss of the vehicle, all occupants made it out safely. Those on the scene described the outcome as nothing short of remarkable.
