Thunderstorm Expected this Afternoon through Evening

The New York City Emergency Management Department warns of a severe storm forecasted for later today. 

The city is at an enhanced risk of thunderstorms with expected winds of up to 60 mph, heavy rain, and large hail. 

Slight chance of a tornado predicted as well. 

 poor drainage areas may experience flooding.
