NYPD Arrests Suspect for Reportedly Brandishing Gun on New Utrecht Ave

The NYPD has arrested a suspect for reportedly brandishing a gun on New Utrecht Avenue and 45th Street, before fleeing the scene in his vehicle.

Shomrim members spotted the suspect brandishing a weapon and followed the suspect who was driving away from the scene until NYPD showed up and arrested the suspect. The weapon was not found in the vehicle or with the suspect but the NYPD arrested the suspect for possession of a controlled substance.
