NYPD: Fatal Stabbing Being Treated as Homicide

An NYPD spokesperson told BoroPark24 that the incident on 9th Avenue is being treated as a homicide, and the victim was stabbed in the neck, not shot as reported earlier.

According to the NYPD what started as a dispute escalated quickly and the victim, a male in his 20s, was stabbed in the neck and transported via private vehicle to Maimonides where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect fled the scene in a grey Hyundai. No further information is available at this time.

A gun was also recovered at the scene, but it is unknown to whom it belonged.
