NYPD Officers Injured After Accident on Ocean Pkwy

Two NYPD officers were injured after their vehicle lost control on Ocean Parkway and Foster Ave, just passed midnight on Wednesday.

An approaching vehicle at the intersection caused the NYPD cruiser that was responding to an emergency, to lose control, hitting a pole at the crosswalk, knocking it to the ground.

Two officers were treated at the scene by Hatzolah and EMS and were later transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
