NYPD Searching for Suspect in Series of Robberies in Boro Park

The New York City Police Department came out to the public asking for assistance in identifying the individuals involved series of violent robberies that occurred over June, with multiple victims being targeted by two unidentified individuals on a two-wheeled vehicle.

  • On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at approximately 10:28 PM, a 24-year-old woman was approached in front of 6200 Fort Hamilton Parkway. The assailants forcibly took her purse, causing her to fall and sustain injuries to her knees and hands. She was treated by EMS.
  • Shortly after the first incident, at 10:35 PM, a 38-year-old woman was attacked in front of 878 54th Street. The suspects attempted to steal her purse, injuring her arms and hands. She declined medical treatment.
  • On Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:25 PM, in front of 4409 6th Avenue, a 29-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint. The thieves stole jewelry valued at $8,000 and fled. No injuries were reported.
  • Minutes later, at 10:30 PM, a 72-year-old man was attacked in front of 653 57th Street. The assailants punched him, hit him with a firearm, and stole his necklace. He refused medical attention despite injuries to his arms and hands.
  • On the same night at 10:39 PM, in front of 847 55th Street, a 54-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint. His necklace was stolen, but he was not injured.
  • On Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:40 PM, in front of 1250 73rd Street, a 30-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when he was struck by the suspects. They stole his motorcycle, causing him back pain. He was treated by EMS.
  • Earlier that evening, at 11:05 PM, a 39-year-old man was robbed in front of 624 53rd Street. The thieves dragged him to the ground, injuring his arms and hands. He was transported to Maimonides Hospital.
  • At 11:30 PM, in front of 6707 10th Avenue, a 47-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint. She sustained injuries to her head and hands and was taken to Maimonides Hospital.
  • Five minutes later, at 11:35 PM, in front of 1047 Ovington Avenue, a 46-year-old man was robbed by two armed individuals. They stole his necklace and bracelet. No injuries were reported.
