On the Heels of History-Filled Weeks, Gerer Rebbe to Preside Over Elevated Shabbos in Boro Park, Three Tischen Throughout Shabbos

As we have chronicled, the history in the court of Ger only continues to intensify, as the Gerer Rebbe has brought the glory and the holiness of the court to American shores—conducting tischen and a magnificent chasunah in America for the very first time in history. 

Last Shabbos, the aufruf of the chosson to marry the Rebbe granddaughter, took a place amid a mass of Gerer chassidim who were energized by the joy and the holiness of Shabbos and the simcha.

Then came the historic wedding this past Tuesday in Monsey. 

Shabbos Sheva Brachos will be Celebrated together, once again at the massive Belzer Talmud Torah on 13th Avenue and 38th Street. The crowds are expected to be even larger than last week—and a whopping three tischen being conducted throughout Shabbos. 

Mincha on Erev Shabbos will take place by the zman, at 7:13. After a “hafsukah”, Maariv will take place at 8:30. The Tisch follows davening at 9:00. 

Chassidim are one again expected to pack the hall for predawn learning, as per the custom in Ger, with daveing following at 8:30. A tisch will take place immediately following davening, at 11:30. 

The uplifted Shabbos will conclude with mincha at 7:15, followed by Seuda Shlishis, leading into the week of Shabbos Slichos, as the Rebbe departs home after three weeks pulsating with holiness and elevation.
