The towering edifice going up at 13th Avenue and 63rd Street will be the new home of a public school. 

The former site of the Angel Guardian Home Will have 547 seats for its students. It will have 96 seats for the D75 program, which provides highly specialized instruction for students who have significant challenges.

A Boro Park historian asked about this could not identify the last time a public school was built in Boro Park.
