Parking Meter Rate Increase Hit Boro Park

The rolling increases to citywide parking meter rates began yesterday for Boro Park as parking meter rates shoot up throughout New York City.

The first of the increases took effect in  Manhattan on October 16, as reported by BoroPark24 here. Queens hourly parking meter rates followed suit on October 27.

The Bronx will be next on November 22, followed by Staten Island on November 28. 

Increases vary by location with Brooklyn's standard hourly meter rates increasing to $1.25.
