Police on the Hunt for Two Suspects in String of Pharmacy Burglaries
YS Gold
The NYPD is looking for two suspects who burglarized a string of pharmacies in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. They believe that all the burglaries were carried out by the same pair—and they report that the crimes mimic each other.
In most of the incidents, the suspects smash the glass with a hammer or crowbar, or break the metal gate. Once they enter the pharmacy, they steal prescription medication, and make their escape in a car.
A total of at least 14 pharmacies were targeted in the month of October alone, sometimes multiple pharmacies in a single night, by these two suspects.
