Police Searching for Suspect in Violent Home Invasion At Edge of Boro Park

Police have nabbed one suspect in a violent home invasion in Sunset Park, on 52nd Street and 7th Ave, while the other remains at large. The shocking incident occurred at 12:41 am, on February 2. 

The two suspects entered the location and demanded money while brandishing weapons. Then, one of the suspects zapped a 53 year old man with a Taser, while the other fired multiple shots at a 41 year old victim, wounding him in the shoulder and the leg. They then made off with more than $4,100 in cash before fleeing.

The victim with multiple gunshot wounds was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. Police picked up one of the suspects, Chaoxin Tan, the next morning, while the other suspect continues to evade authorities. The suspect sought is described as last seen wearing a black bubble coat, black pants, and dark colored sneakers.
