Rachmastrivka Chassidim Around the World to Commence Writing of new Sefer Torah
As we head into Chodesh Sivan, approaching the Yom Tov of Kabbolas haTorah—where Klal Yisroel accepted the Torah as one, with one heart—there could not be a better preparation than beginning the writing of a new Sefer Torah by an entire community.
Thus, Wednesday, Rosh Chodesh Sivan will bring together the Rachmastrivka chassidim from throughout the Tri-State area for an evening filled with the holy joy of beginning the writing of a new Sefer Torah—written by the entire kehillah around the world—with the first letters to be written by The Rebbe Shlit’a.
The Sefer Torah is written and dedicated by the chassidim as a zechus for the Rebbe shlit’a
In addition to an address by the Rebbe, Shlit”a, the Skulener Rebbe will deliver divrei brocho, and Rav Shaul Yehuda Prizant of Sanz-Zvehiller Rebbe, a noted ba’al darshan, will inspire those assembled to the awesomeness of the moments.
The event will take place at the Rachmastrivka Shul on 45th Street on Wednesday, at 7:45 in the evening.
