Sanitation Truck Loses Wheels on 17th Avenue

Early this morning, a sanitation truck experienced a mechanical failure while on its route along 17th Avenue, losing two of its massive wheels while in motion. 

Hours later, a DSNY tow truck arrived on the scene to remove the disabled vehicle. Sanitation services in the area were not affected as a result of this incident.
