Serious Accident in Monticello Claims Life

At approximately 4:00 this afternoon, a serious accident took place on Route 17B in Monticello, crushing two SUVs, and scattering debris all over the roadway.  

Emergency personnel rushed to the scene, and state troopers closed off Route 17B between Creamery Road and Airport Road to launch an investigation. 

Sadly, one person lost their life in this accident. Misaskim was not needed at the scene.
