Shabbos Burglary in Boro Park, Police Seeking to Identify Suspect

The NYPD reported that a suspect broke into a home on Shabbos early morning, stealing nearly $60,000 in household goods. The incident took place on July 5, 2025, in the vicinity of 14th Avenue and 47 thStreet, shaking the quiet neighborhood. 

The unidentified male made his way into the residence unnoticed, targeting valuable items before making his escape.

The suspect, last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, dark-colored pants, black sneakers, and black gloves, fled the scene on a bicycle. His swift departure left authorities with little to go on, and no injuries were reported during the burglary. The NYPD is now turning to the public for assistance in identifying the individual responsible for this bold crime.

The investigation remains ongoing, with the community urged to stay vigilant. The police are hopeful that someone may recognize the suspect from the description provided. No further information has been released at this time.
