Shiur Scene: The Tanya Shiur of the Amshinov Rebbe

One of Boro Park’s most influential rebbes is the Amshinov Rebbe. 

From the small, iconic shul on 15th Avenue, he leads his kehilla with love and passion, offering chassidishe shmuessen at every opportunity and on every occasion.

One of the most special moments in the kehilla is the Tuesday night Tanya shiur for Kehila members. The shiur isn’t simply a “well-explained Tanya.” It’s much more than that. With remarkable depth - yet with crystal clarity - the Rebbe opens up a wide range of chassidishe subjects, topics, and concepts in a way that feels both elevated and completely understandable.

Often, the Rebbe will travel to Monsey, Lakewood, and other locations when people request that he deliver the shiur in their community - spreading the light of chassidus far beyond the borders of Boro Park.
