Shomrim’s Tech-Savvy Efforts Lead to Arrest of Car Theft Suspects in Boro Park

Over the last week Shomrim received multiple calls regarding cars being stolen in Boro Park and was working hard for several days to track down the perpetrators.

Using specialized custom technology, Shomrim tracked down the car involved in the thefts and identified the location where it was parked each day.

For several nights Shomrim members used drones to keep an eye on the car in the hopes of catching the owner red-handed while committing another car robbery. 

Their efforts finally paid off early this morning when Shomrim members caught the perps in the act of stealing another vehicle. NYPD was called to the scene and two suspects, who had been on the NYPD’s wanted list, were arrested.
