Snow, Sleet, and Rain to Gallop into Boro Park between 2 to 4pm
By Yehudit Garmaise
Boro Park residents might want to bundle up and stay home for the next few days because starting between 2 and 4pm today and continuing until Thursday morning, seven to 11 inches of snow are expected to fall.
To add to the blustery winter weather, winds that start at 25 mph and increase to 60 mph will start howling through Brooklyn around candle-lighting time, reported BoroPark24's weather enthusiast Shea Gluck.
The snow this afternoon will start out falling lightly, although steadily falling more heavily, before the snow turns to sleet and maybe even rain, before turning back to snow by Thursday morning, when the winter storms end.
In the next few days, temperatures are expected to fall rapidly to the high 20s and freeze everything overnight.
On Thursday morning, Boro Park residents should take extra care while walking outside, as sidewalks could be very dangerous and slippery.
