Stolin Chassidim Celebrate Start Of New Shul Construction

Great excitement was in the air when Karlin-Stolin chassidim gathered on Sunday to celebrate the beginning of construction for their brand-new shul on 16th Ave and 46th St. 

As reported by BoroPark24 here, after many years of standing still, the property where the massive, new Stolin shul will stand is finally getting excavated. 

A joyous l’chaim was held on Sunday to celebrate the start of the project. Chassidim looked on with excitement as construction commenced on the huge lot. It was also the yartzeit of Rebbe Shlomo of Karlin, and as per the Karlin-Stolin minhag, the chassidim all made a shehechiyanu on a fruit in memory of the Rebbe.
