Streets Scheduled for Resurfacing this Summer in Boro Park

The NYC Department of Transportation has scheduled a range of repaving projects this summer. Work is planned to upgrade road conditions and enhance safety.
● New Utrecht Avenue (from 50 Street to 61 Street)
● New Utrecht Avenue (from 9 Avenue to 12 Avenue)
● 13 Avenue (from 46 Street to 61 Street)
● Avenue I (from Ocean Parkway to Dahill Road)
● 49 Street (from New Utrecht Avenue to 16 Avenue)
● Ditmas Avenue (from Dahill Road to Ocean Parkway)
● 55 Street (from 12 Avenue to 13 Avenue)
● 44 Street (from 13 Avenue to Dahill Road)
● 53 Street (from 14 Avenue to 18 Avenue)
● 56 Street (from 8 Avenue to Fort Hamilton Parkway)
● East 5 Street (from Elmwood Avenue to Dead End)
● 14 Avenue (from New Utrecht Avenue to 44 Street)
● 59 Street (from 8 Avenue to 11 Avenue)
● 43 Street (from Dahill Road to Fort Hamilton Parkway)
Although the streets are usually emptier during the summer months when many people head upstate, drivers should still expect some traffic changes and possible street closures while the repaving takes place.
