Tech Titans Called to White House AI Meeting

With Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, and what it could mean for civilization on planet earth, making headlines, the White House called a meeting with the heads of a number of CEOs from technology companies to discuss issues stemming from the relatively recent introduction of AI. 

The invitation issued by President Biden, communicated the president’s “expectation that companies like yours must make sure their products are safe before making them available to the public.” 

Grabbing headlines in recent months has been AI’s ChatGPT, which is able to instantly write answers to many questions typed into it. The service has attracted 100 million users around the world every month. 

Many business and technology leaders have warned of the dangers of AI, and some Rabbonim in our communities have issued bans against its use.
