Three-Alarm-Fire Rips Through Two Homes Early AM

A three-alarm-fire had two homes engulfed in flames at around 4:15 am early Thursday morning on East 9th street and Avenue C.

Dozens of firefighters worked for around a half hour to get the fire under control and then completely extinguish it.

Video of the fire show the flames burning through the upper floors of both homes, with thick smoke sewn blocks away.

It is unknown what caused the fires to start and there are no reports of injuries at this time.
