Tree Collapses on Truck at Dahill Road and Ditmas Avenue

A large tree came crashing down on a truck at the corner of Dahill Road and Ditmas Avenue.

According to dashcam footage, the truck was attempting to park when it struck the tree at an angle, causing it to fall. BoroPark24 spoke with a neighbor who said the tree appeared strong and healthy, with no visible signs of damage or decay. 

Emergency crews from Hatzolah, FDNY, EMS, Shomrim, DSNY, and the Parks Department are at the scene assisting with the situation.

Both lanes of the block are currently closed to traffic as cleanup continues.
