The Viznitz kehillah in Boro Park has recently confirmed plans for a major masa hakodesh to Europe, which is scheduled to take place at the end of summer, during Parshas Re’eh, just before Chodesh Elul. During that time, the Viznitz Rebbe shlit”a of Boro Park, accompanied by many of his chassidim, will travel to kivrei tzaddikim in Europe.

The Rebbe shlit”a is undertaking this journey in preparation for the wedding of his son, which is set to take place next year on Rosh Chodesh Adar in Boro Park, to the granddaughter of the Rebbe’s uncle, the Viznitz Rebbe shlit”a of Yerushalayim.

The trip will begin on Sunday of Parshas Re’eh, and the group will depart from New York. Their first stop will be in Ukraine, where they will visit the kivrei avos and the tzion of the Baal Shem Tov zt”l in Mezhibuzh. From there, the journey will continue to Lizhensk to visit the graves of many tzaddikim throughout the week.

On Thursday, Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul, they will visit the tzion of Rebbe Elimelech of Lizhensk zt”l, and the journey will then culminate with an uplifting Shabbos in Dinov, Poland, near the kever of the Bnei Yissaschar zt”l.
