116-Year-Old Boro Park Home Set to Disappear as Neighborhood's Historic Landscape Continues to Change

Another piece of Boro Park's early history is preparing to make way for new development.

The house at 1248 50th Street, built in 1910, is slated to be replaced after plans were filed for a new five-story residential building. The proposed development will include five apartments and ground-floor commercial space.
